Industrial Dissemination Seminar at DropsA SpA
The one-day Industry-Oriented Dissemination Seminar took place on 12 March 2025 at DropsA SpA in Vimodrone (Milan), Italy. As a representative of the BioMeld project and its Smart Sensing partner, Prof. Roberto Teti was invited to deliver an industry-oriented presentation. His talk focused on the emerging topic of Biologicalisation in Manufacturing. Prof. Teti’s presentation introduced the staff of the host manufacturing company and its business collaborators-including delegates from other firms, consultants, and research organization representatives (around 15 attendees) – to the concept of Biological Transformation in Industry. It also provided an overview of the BioMeld project, with a particular focus on the role of the BioMeld partner Smart Sensing in manufacturing process steps and production plan development in bio-hybrid steerable catheter fabrication and assembly.
